I love your story and your pic! My fam is all in Sask. right now for Father’s Day and I miss them! Your story brought me right there…my dad walked the same prairie and still lives on it and loves it. Thanks for sharing your love for your dad.

Lori, I am unworthy of the lovely comments you have written. As I look back I can see that I was not a perfect father and there is so much I would change if I could do it again. But you and your sisters would make any father proud.

You, Lori, my firstborn, have shown that you strive toward excellence in your profession and also as a mother. Your intelligence, wit and commitment to the Lord is so evident; and I know that you are always eager to help others succeed in their personal goals and dreams.

Thank you for sharing that personal story about your dad . . . I have met your dad and didn’t know it was your dad . . . what a small wonderful world!

I heard him speak at a conference a few weeks ago and was very inspired by his words. It’s really nice to know that he follows the words he shares with the world. I have been familiar with his church for a long time, but now am inspired to go for a visit if I can hear him speak. I love his voice especially!

I can see where it might be a little challenging to be his daughter with his godly presence, yet what a gift it must have been also. Obviously he loves his family. Thank God he followed his passion – what the world would be missing if he hadn’t?

Lori…what a beautiful tribute to your Dad! I think the hardships in the early years when we’re young (whatever they may be) help to mold and shape us. Your Dad is a caring, compassionate man who loves his daughters (sons-in-law) and grandchildren very much. We are all blessed to have him in our lives…..love, Mom
