Blog Update – Exciting Things on the Way!

At the beginning of the summer, the blogging program I had been using stopped working correctly, and the company who makes it refused to fix the errors. What had once been fairly easy – putting up a new blog post – became a difficult and time-consuming task.

Clearly, something needed to change. I decided to have my blog posts moved to a brand-new blogging program. I figured as long as I was doing that, I should have my entire site redesigned as well.

So, in about a month (maybe a tiny bit more), I’ll unveil the new Montessori for Everyone. The designer is working on it right now, and from the preliminaries it’s going to be gorgeous! I can hardly wait.

Once the new site is up, I’ll resume blogging. The new blog will have better categories, a search box, and of course be much easier for me to use. In the meantime, I’m working on getting some new, exciting posts ready.

Thanks for your patience, and I promise it will be worth the wait!

Until then, please subscribe to my blog feed to get the new posts once they start, and sign up for my email newsletter for updates about new items, freebies, and more.

Thanks!

Lori

    Hi Lori,

Thank you for all of your input! I forwarded the Halloween and Harvest links to our directress… she didn’t seem so pleased with the ideas, more defensive if anything.

I have a question–what is a good student to directress ratio?

Hi, Shawna! The recommended ratios are different for preschool vs. elementary. In preschool, two teachers (or one teacher/one assistant) is good for 25 kids; in elementary, I think one teacher for 20 kids is enough.
