Hi, Nicole! So glad you like my blog. I must confess that I don't know much else about the charts other than what I've shared here. I do know that they are originally AMI - they come straight from Bergamo, Italy, where Dr. Montessori used to train people herself. However, it's likely that some of the content has been modified for use in the US by AMS trainers.

To learn more about each chart set, please visit the listings for each item. I did my best to describe them in detail. I can't share more pictures or experiments because I don't want to give too much away :)

Thanks for stopping by!

I must tell you, I LOVE reading your blog, it gives me things to ponder, to research and to explore. Of course, from time to time I stop and wonder--how have I missed this all along and today it one of those days! Would you mind telling me a little bit more about these charts and maybe reminding me if your training is AMS or AMI? I am still pretty new to the Montessori world (I have 6-9 training through AMS but my hands on experiences beyond that have been limited in some odd ways!) While I wouldn't stake my life on it, I am almost certain that there is no mention of these original charts anywhere in my albums or at least not in the context that I was understanding from your post. The concepts you wrote about are familiar and the works are beautiful, I am just trying to wrap my brain around the whole thing! Would you mind explaining a little bit more of the history for me? Thank you so much for everything you do! I have learned more from you than you can imagine!
