Although we don't do Montessori at present, when I have visited Montessori classrooms what strikes me is how much care, focus and effort teachers put into this. I have seen teachers very calmly, consistently, and confidently explain, redirect, explain, model, redirect ... etc and the children respond so well to this. Great parents seem to do the same, rather than having their attention scattered while trying to teach and reinforce these sorts of habits. My two cents is that I'm sure the teachers calm confident focus is why it works effectively in Montessori classrooms, yet parents so often struggle to achieve it at home.
