		<description>&lt;i&gt;Sometimes, it only takes one adult to believe in a child for them to succeed.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;This is so true! I know for me, I had several teachers that really made a difference. The best thing they did was not to label me at all (good or bad), but just let me be myself. So freeing!</description>

		<description>I tend to agree with this.  I have seen kids as I was growing up basically become whatever they were told that they were.  I did it myself.  I was told when I was young that I was good at school... low and behold... I did really well in high school.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;My parents and my wife&#039;s parents both had high expectations for us and so we did well in school, but I know that kids somehow seem to conform to whatever they are told that they are.  It is really strange but worth noting.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;As a public school teacher... I know that so many of my kids are told that they are this or that and so they act that way.  If someone who doesn&#039;t know them as that label comes in and expects more, they are usually capable of it despite what other teachers might say or think.
