It’s such an amazing, radical philosophy that you can only really understand it by going back in time and seeing how it came about.

And, as you said, the proof is there in the early schools…something for all of us to strive for today.

I have been far too lazy to write about it in as much depth as you do, however.<br/><br/>I *love* that you're writing down the history and putting it out there for people. Having been studying Montessori (the person and the method)since my older daughter was three, it's history such as this that has really inspired me into remaining excited about the method, years later. <br/><br/>When people really understand THAT it works--and good Lord, the Casa dei Bambini was such PROOF of that-- the HOW it works can come a little easier into their understanding. <br/><br/>I freaking <i>LOVE</i> your blog.
