		<description>What a thoughtful and enjoyable post.  I am not a huge fan of testing as, for an individual child, all it shows is how well that child does on standardized tests.  As someone who scores abnormally well even on tests covering subjects I know nothing about, I am dubious as to the value of tests in general.</description>
