The things she said about actually working with the children are still very true today. You know, like they are sort of just advice or things she said along the way. Not actually related to how we teach children. You are right, this book is groundbreaking but not all ideas are applicable today. I think it's good to talk about that rather than just not mention it. <br/><br/>I work in 3-6, and I feel the same way about the materials. It is so cool that we are still using many of the same original ones. My favorites are the cylinders and knobless cylinders. The kids love them too. Thank you for these posts.
